IHO has been specifically designed for use solely in heating applications such as industrial boilers, heaters, dryers and furnaces.
IHO is manufactured in a similar way to other fuels, and is also similar to kerosene. However, it condensed at a higher temperature to Kerosene of around 250-350°C during its production.
IHO is used for commercial heating purposes and is often used as an alternative to diesel. There are many industries that use IHO including, but not limited to, factories, warehouses, colleges and school. It is used in boilers, dryers and heaters.
IHO has the same characteristics of diesel, and often produces more energy, but for a lower PPL. This makes it a cost effective alternative for your business. It can also be used all-year round, whereas diesel requires different grades in Summer and Winter.
No. IHO can be added straight to a tank that has previously had kerosene or diesel in it. There are no modifications required.
